“It is one of the worst, possible injuries, you can pretty much have, I think breaking your leg is better than tearing ACL,” said Ashley McGuire

“I was fortunate to land in this position,” Al Juboori said. “I always envisioned myself working in a place where I can both interact with brilliant students and keep the path of my research activities.

The member-services team received an influx of calls from member-owners who wanted to pay their bill online. I wrote an article informing them how they can pay in a more efficient way and save time.

“I am inspired by knowing that my work can help someone become their most confident self.”

Mann said that the award is an honor she owes in part to working with outstanding students. She loves the enthusiasm, spirit and energy they bring to the table.

“There are very few parts of the state where you have public transportation... Beyond that there is not much in terms of transportation options in the state particularly for low income people,” said Corey Miller.

“Every industry needs good communicators, not just advertising agencies or news organizations," Sapp said

“I became interested in the field because my little sister was born deaf bilaterally and has a cochlear implant,” Voyles said. “My little sister always came to Ole Miss to be fitted for hearing aids.”

“This means the world to me because my parents will live in perpetuity through the lives of many scholarship recipients to come,” said Robinson, who also earned a doctoral degree from Howard University.

“Having fully online programs, while still having on-campus courses, would attract many students,” Berg said.

"I’ve learned so much from the ISS program and I think it does a wonderful job preparing students for careers in the intelligence community."

“I think the coolest part is watching what Chiara and Andrea have done this year, and they have kind of grabbed this team and thrown them on their backs carrying this team to the postseason,” Byrd said.

“In these times, it is important for everyone to start learning about public health, even at a young age,” she said. “It also allows parents and teachers to open a discussion.”

“I think that my sport helps me to remain mentally grounded and reminds me to keep things simple,” she said. “Both characteristics are crucial for learning new information within exercise science and for test-taking.”

“At the last ambassador event in Oxford – it was on a Wednesday afternoon when most faculty and staff could not attend the event – Kaleigh had enough ambassadors there," Jenkins said.

“It completely shifted, not just our school, but pretty much the entire college landscape of how we connect with fans, and really what priorities we put on it,” Buchannan said.

OXFORD, Miss – A trip to the chiropractor and a passion to help his mother open her own restaurant prompted Cesar Hidalgo, a University of Mississippi junior from Meridian, to pursue a double major in exercise science and dietetics and nutrition.
